4" x 1075' 4 mil Pink Anti-Static Poly Tubing

This pink 4" x 1,075' 4 mil anti-static tubing roll is continuous anti-static poly bag stock for electronics: cut it to the length you need and seal one or both ends. At 4 mil, it's a heavy-duty narrow anti-static tubing for heavier cables, harnesses and sharp-ended parts.

The film is virgin LDPE with an antistatic agent built into the resin, tinted pink for easy identification. It's amine-free, so it won't attack polycarbonate parts or boards, and silicone-free. Per the manufacturer's data sheet, surface resistivity is about 10¹¹ ohms per square and static decay is under 0.25 seconds (tested at 20% relative humidity, 70°F). It complies with RoHS 3, REACH and California Prop 65, and with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520. One 1,075' roll makes about 1,075 bags 12" long, or 537 bags 24" long.

Sizing: 4" is the flat width of the tube, so the finished bag is 4" wide and as long as you cut it. For boards and thicker parts, choose a width of at least the part's width plus its thickness.

Anti-static, not shielding: pink anti-static film keeps the bag itself from building up a static charge. It does not block an outside electrostatic discharge the way a Faraday cage does. For the most sensitive components, use static shielding bags.
