10" x 1075' 4 mil Pink Anti-Static Poly Tubing

Make anti-static bags any length you need with this 10" x 1,075' 4 mil pink anti-static poly tubing, an amine-free LDPE tube on a roll that you cut and seal yourself. At 4 mil, it's a heavy-duty anti-static tubing for heavier assemblies, panels and parts with sharp edges.

The film is virgin LDPE with an antistatic agent built into the resin, tinted pink for easy identification. It's amine-free, so it won't attack polycarbonate parts or boards, and silicone-free. Per the manufacturer's data sheet, surface resistivity is about 10¹¹ ohms per square and static decay is under 0.25 seconds (tested at 20% relative humidity, 70°F). It complies with RoHS 3, REACH and California Prop 65, and with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520. One 1,075' roll makes about 1,075 bags 12" long, or 537 bags 24" long.

Sizing: 10" is the flat width of the tube, so the finished bag is 10" wide and as long as you cut it. For boards and thicker parts, choose a width of at least the part's width plus its thickness.

Anti-static, not shielding: pink anti-static film keeps the bag itself from building up a static charge. It does not block an outside electrostatic discharge the way a Faraday cage does. For the most sensitive components, use static shielding bags.
