How to Choose a Flat Poly Bag Size
Flat bags are listed as width x length, measured on the outside, and they open on the width. For flat items, choose a bag about an inch larger than the item each way. For thicker items, the bag width should be at least the item's width plus its depth, and the length at least its length plus its depth, plus room to close the bag.

Flat bags are the most economical choice for most products. For boxes and bulky items, gusseted poly bags expand to fit. When contents need to be opened and closed again, use zip top reclosable bags. For custom lengths cut on site, use poly tubing.
